After Forgiveness
If I die tomorrow where shall I go?
Shall I flee to greener grass, below sun?
Shall soul be met along the river flow?
Where shall I go when life is truly done?
Blackened skies that churn, among raging flames?
Or streets of gold manned by a pearly gate?
I ponder for hours, one of the brains' games.
I lived my life of hate, chasing His bait.
Will I see the sweet glory of Heaven?
I cannont withstand Earth, Lord, come save me.
I have chased the holy dream since seven.
After time is done, I want my soul free.
I see white light. My body is risen.
Thank you, Lord. My sins have been forgiven.
