After Highschool
A girl sits and thinks about the man of her dreams.
Brown hair, brown eyes,
A smile that beams,
A man to help her through her lows and highs.
She imagines him as a doctor or lawyer.
She imagines a little house in the city.
He would be a great father,
Raising two kids, a girl and a boy, Cosette and Jerry.
The girl thinks about her boyfriend and sighs.
He would be no doctor, no lawyer.
He may not be there to help her through her lows and highs.
She still loves him dearly, however,
What he will be scares her to her core,
Her boy will be a soldier, her man will go to war.
