After Sunset

Nighttime God I hate when the sun is no longer there because I know I’m going to be up for hours just thinking about everything he did to me and sometimes I wonder did I deserve it or was it just by chance I didn’t know it would the first time

He was like family someone I knew

No thought

I could trust but the ways he hurt me could not be fixed by “im sorry”

No the only thing that could have fixed my broken bones was time but time hasn’t done anything but sit in the corner and watch me cry over the same things never has she done anything except show me what I’ve lost and what I’ve survived through, but even through all the pain and all the crying over all the cuts that are burned into my skin and all the blood I’ve lost hoping that someone

Anyone

Would come and save me but no one came to my rescue no one ever heard my screaming

So I finally learned something

I learned that the only one you can trust is you and the only opinion that matters is yours because you’re the only one that knows the pain you’ve survived.
