...Aftermath

The body wants.

The heart hurts.

The mind however isn't surprised.

Whose to say I dont deserve it.

Maybe happiness is not for me,

at least in the moment I hope

Im so conflicted.

emotions run rampant in my head.

Am I mad, sad, displeased, appeased?

What even is this?

It is so insignificant to the big picture

yet so significant to the big picture

The heartbreak I have won't go away

But there is no part of me that wants to cry

I am at a loss as to where I stand

I might be overreacting

I might not

Is this normal?

Is this love?
