AFTERNOON

Afternoon......

‘tis o’clock

after noon,

arvo

will be here real soon,

maybe a sanger

with a brew,

will do!

or maybe the thrill

of a pill,

will suffice,

or maybe a snooze

in a drawn-out session,

will do the trick,

off making me head tic,

tic, tic, ticking away…
