An afternoon with friends

Leaning back,

lying down.

Face to face with lazing clouds.

A brush of sun

on a damp green bed.

Relaxing time to relax the mind.

Swigging joy

one at a time.

Sharing joy in life's coincidence.

No discomfort,

no awkward tendencies.

Yes, I think I will have another drink.

Overflowing

with flowing glee.

Overflowing

in honest curiosity.

No expectations,

no harbouring today.

Just encouraging

to laugh,

to smile,

to play.

It was a good day.
