The Afternoon Sun

Another swoop,

And down it comes;

To bathe in the afternoon

Sunlight; to keep its shine.

They fly in all over the place;

They have come back

From a far corner,

To regail us with sound.

Found in the afternoon,

The tune of the day;

It has its way,

As it swoops and dives.

Alive with vivacity,

It flies on the wing;

It sang in the sky light

Of the afternoon sun.
