Afterwards

Droplets of water cascading from the sky.

It makes me wonder where we go when we die.

Do we rise up and become little balls of flame, that sparkle like diamonds and make children sing?

Do we lie down into a bed of brown, and sleep off the pain we've been made to endure?

Do we rise again and make another footprint on this tragic place called Earth?

So many questions, and answers I'll never know.

Because when all is revealed and I have no more questions, it will be too late and the answers will be pointless.
