Again

He is angry again

He is yelling at nothing

His eyes land on me

My tail wags involuntarily

It is an instinct that cannot be shaken

He approaches with cautious steps

To make me calm

Then all hell breaks loose once again

It hurts but there is nothing that I can do

He is bigger than me in every way

When he done I am filled with relief

He leaves and I stay

He comes back and the cycle begins again.
