Again

Here I am again

In a pin

Someone on top with a grin

I’m on the floor

I’m angry to the core

Why won’t you help

You’ve watched this happen

Why can’t you step in

You swore an oath

This isn’t something growth will change

Can you see me hang my head in fear

And hear my tears

On the nights  that I can’t hold them anymore

I don’t feel safe

In my own home

Thats something that shouldn’t occur

Can’t you see this is becoming a chore for me?

Sometimes I just want to walk right out the door

Just for me and only me

I need to protect me

This could wreak my life if I don’t

I know the feeling of neglect

This is something that needs to become correct

Not something that just needs to be checked

This affects me

I know what is right

and this is incorrect.

I am not a defect

And let me tell you now

I’m not a suspect

Nor am I just a spect on this planet we call Earth
