Again

I sat in my dorm, thinking of last night

Of course before I needed to take flight

We swirled to the beat

I got swept off my feet

The song finished with a leap

He smiled, bowing deep

That was when I lost my shoe

Reminded of Calc II

My apology hung in the air

As I fled down the stairs

After midnight I couldn't stay

For the test was the very next day

He smiled with regret

But told me not to fret

For somehow, someway, he would find me again

But though his noble flair

It was I who found him there

Staring through the window

"So, how was your calc test"?

"To be honest, not the best"

He learned my name and I learned his

Ash and Ella

Somehow

Someway

The very next day

Together again
