The fighting The yelling The hurtful words I hate it It sends shivers through my spine It sends sickness through my stomach Make it stop Please, just make it stop Why does it have to be us, That go through it all. I wouldn’t wish this on anybody. It wouldn’t be right. It’s silent now. Moms at the table, Head in her hands. Dad might be ready to walk out the door. Without him, Might as well be dead. He keeps her calm when she’s angry. That’s the only reason I’m not kicked out. He makes her laugh. He makes her smile. He makes me realize that they’re hope When everything seems to be going wrong. I can’t take it. If I told them to stop, I’d be in the middle. That’s a dangerous place to be. The silence is the worse. Especially when it’s long And company’s on it’s way. That’s the worst. Maybe one day They’ll fight so badly, That it will kill me. At least the torture will be over.

I have been through situations in my life that some would say make me stronger. They made me wise, they made me cry, the took away all my hope. But I'm still living. Poetry is my way to express myself. Besides music, it's all I have. I'm here because I found a place where I can be recognized for my poems and not my experiences. When I won't be judged because of what happened to me. Other than that you'd be surprised at how happy I seem. I'm outgoing I'm hyper I'm not allowed to have sugar because I'm so hyper I'm caring I'm helpful I care for others more than myself I have high expectations and dreams Music is my life This is me and if you can't except it than leave.
