Again and Again

I started losing weight again.

Because I started throwing up again,

Because I started running again,

Because I stopped sleeping again,

Because the thought of you keeps me up.

 

I stopped smiling again.

Because I started lying again,

Because I got tired of trying again,

Because it hurt to fake it again,

Because it was hurting you again.

 

I broke my promise again.

I broke that one again,

And again and again,

Again, again, again,

I didn't want to hurt you again.

 

I will never break that promise again.

Because I don't want to hurt again,

Because I don't want to hurt you again,

Because I don't want to lose you again,

Never again.
