Against All Odds

Detroit

Where aspirations are stipulated and dreams are rooted

Where the setting and surroundings don't determine the content of character

And where violence and crime are predominant within it's perimeter.

Dreams

What creates hope within my community's boundaries.

The dedication to strive surpasses the desire of departure.

And Hope, the fuel that powers dreams onward.

If I could change one thing concerning my community

It would be it's obligation to succeed.

To improve my community's strategy towards greatness

And not towards Mediocrity or Defeat.

Detroit

The city of Ridicule

The city of Destruction...

No, the City of Resurrection.
