Agape Love
I let my heart play at the beat of your melody
I question how can you love someone as much as me.
I don’t give you all you need all the time
but even then, you still look at me like a prized possession.
Never once have you lied to me you instead taught me truth.
I didn’t even know what love meant till I meet you,
and yeah,
I know the love you feel by your family and friends but you showed me an agape type of love
I don’t deserve it
You taught me joy when I thought happiness was the best type of healing.
I sleep at night with peace.
I am not afraid to accomplish my goals with you beside me.
You taught me to love my flaws that I use to never embrace.
You bring the best out of me.
With you, I will always live my best life.
