Age

Age

Too bad I won’t grow old

The same day repeats

My age

It leaves

My soul

I see

What you meant to me

Too bad

It repeats

The same mistakes day after day

To remind me I’m mortal

Please take me away

To hide the burns and scars you put

Telling me to go away

Maybe I should

I always cared

And yet you stared

While I lived a time of anguish

Your words cannot repair

The pain you’ve caused

The way I sought

To be a better person

I hope you rot

I take it back

When I write I feel lost

You were a gift from god

But to you

I was a gear in your cog

So I’ll grow old

Without you

But it’ll be a life of sadness

Because I adore you

Thanks for the pain

True love is madness

A lot of lessons learned

And I guess you always loved her

Please be nice

Because now it’s your turn
