Aggravation

Humanity disappoints me.

Is it really that hard to exist?

To follow the rules,

To pickup the pieces,

To not be so damn thick?

Yes, I guess…

Its hard for you to see

How your frivolous behavior

Effects poor little me.

I try to explain

To reason- not complain-

But the little monsters go on

Playing their foolish game.

Laughter and jokes

It’s fun till you die

How will you look then-

When the crows take your eyes?

“Oh what a shame.”

“Yes a tragedy,” they’ll proclaim

But I’m afraid your existence

Was stiflingly profane.

You take and you take

Leaving a trial of dust;

It serves you right

Living your whole life for lust.

The only memory left

Is your whimsical little game

And not one will remember

Your real name.
