Aggression

I will never be the same.

never be okay,

but I’ll keep walking.

left foot right foot

left foot

right foot

left foot

right foot

left foot right foot

I’ll keep breathing.

inhale

exhale

deeper now.

inhale

exhale

worst of all,

I’ll keep smiling

pulling back

and showing my teeth.

If I were an animal

it would be agression

but as a human

it’s a mask.

only hiding my depression.
