Aging ...

Ecclesiastes 7:1-2

Life is Brief and Death is certain!

A good reputation is better than precious perfume;
likewise, the day of one’s death is better than the day of one’s birth.
It is better to go to a funeral
than a feast.
For death is the destiny of every person,
and the living should take this to heart.

What slows down the body ... what affects the physical?

Is it age or something else that under girds this train of thought?

The answers hidden deep in self and not in the anatomical

Since all things in our system depend on one another ... good or naught

Once I was a pilgrim ... then I settled in

Now just a speck of dust ... glowing in the Sonset

Now I depend on Him ... delivered from could have been?

Remembering anger and lust ... as He controlled that quest

Now I face the twilight ... dimming are the eyes

Ears that don’t hear well and teeth mostly gone

Fading now from might and all the reasons why

Are not too important you can tell ... all things now underdone
