Aging

Ecclesiastes 11:8 New English Translation (NET Bible)

8 So, if a man lives many years, let him rejoice in them all,
but let him remember that the days of darkness will be many—all that is about to come is obscure.

Aging etc

Slowly moving forward while shuffling on my feet

Remembering the days that I was a running

Now I am a part of the close to forgotten "neat"

With respect to pay not to the smart or cunning

With cane in hand and a tear in the eye

Still in an unending search for lost causes

Trying to plan and puzzle on how to get by

And how to be first in ongoing tragic pauses

A life well invested but mostly in the wrongs

A waste of sorts in an environment of the same

Seldom now tested in the trash heap of the gone

That in one accord always searches others to blame
