The Agon
The birds sing “Poo-Tee-Weet”
Are we ever truly free?
Why do you take a knee?
Every 9 months we breed a soldier to this Unholy War
Oh, the families that we tore
Victims of an immoral system you and I are
Where our children do not feed
A system of capital and greed
Where different minded humans are slaughtered and tortured like sheep
All in the name of good business
We leave behind ethics and humanity
Millions and millions left in agony
But that’s not what we are led to believe
Since Society deceives
Leaving no room to preconceive
That humanity’s agon is corruption and greed.
