by Kyle Schaub

Death is all around the world, I hope you understand

Sickness, hunger, violence, war, I cannot comprehend.

All these things, they take their toll, but not so much as this:

Death is all around the world in the form of difference.

The conflict of two clashing minds can lead the world astray

Death to all their people is the price they have to pay.

Ideas, beliefs, dreams, and hope, it doesn’t mean a thing

When you hate another for how they think, death is what you’ll bring.

There is room for change in this world, and lives can still live on

If we see each other in a better light, the dusk will turn to dawn.

The door to life is locked right now, and our outlook is the key

If I could change one thing in this world, it’s that we’d all agree.
