Aidan

Stranded,

Just me and my lonely thoughts

To keep me occupied on this forsaken island.

But-

Not as lonely as I think,

The one I would take with me:

My boyfriend,

My best friend,

The one who keeps me sane in this crazy world,

Aidan.

Oh my Aidan,

My love,

The one I hold dearest.

I can’t live a day without him;

I absolutely need him.

Without him

I am nothing.

He keeps me calm.

Collected.

Blissful.

Without him

I myself am much like the island I occupy:

Waves crashing against the shore

With no effect on the surroundings,

Just going through the motions.

No feelings-

No meaning-

Pointlessness.

My heart as empty as the life surrounding.

What good is an empty island?

What good is my life with an empty heart?

Oh my Aidan,

My love,

The one I hold dearest.

You’re all I need-

Stranded,

Just me and my love,

To keep me occupied on this forsaken island.
