Air

I feel you slipping Through the cracks of my lips My lungs will not contract For air does not exist Chemicals staining my breath Within this dimension I persist If oxygen was human you'd be my last kiss I stand on the edges of the furthest ground I breathe an invisible gas That makes no apparent sound I consume you whole And the corpse you leave behind  Resulting in an instant and pain free death that life defines Where I see my hands and wrists My legs and feet But no one else is around me Everything blurs But the tears that will fly free Without you is my end So many signs could be vital I ask for water to be send I am breathing for survival
