Like Air

Why do I write?

Why do you breathe?

Why do you blink?

Why do you sleep?

Why do you eat?

Because we have to.

Why do I write?

Why do you go to school?

Why do you have a job?

Why do you buy a car?

Why do you think?

Because we need to.

Why do I write?

Why do you have friends?

Why do you read?

Why do you have a cell phone?

Why do you have a cat?

Because we want to.

Writing, like air, necessity.

Writing, like life, no choice.

Writing, like technology, desire.

Writing, salvation.

Writing, creation.

Writing, devastation.

Weapon.

Weakness.

Impossible.

Everything.

Writing. Like air. Necessity.
