Air Raid

The bird of death

it comes so quickly

like as hawk swooping down

for a morning meal

It appears and disappears from the evil skies of the tropics.

A man crossing the road

late  for an interview running

is too slow ,

a cop in pursuit of a criminal can’t compete

with its speed

it appears and disappears

like a viper striking its target

this bird of death

Evil of the modern age.

A friend has his worries

That don’t include  thank you for

Gifts from another friend

he just wants to survive for the day

From, this bird of death…

                        Smiles
