Air Supremacy
Thunderous roaring
Are heard from the skies
As the king of the atmopshere
Gracefully flies.
Gleaming in sunlight
The birds watch in awe
As the behemoth takes off
Into limitless skies.
Such metallic beasts,
Rulers of the air,
Were imagined and built
By Aerospace Engineers
Whos passion in flight
Gave humans them wings.
Such passion is shared
Between those who seek
To design their very own birds
That replaces current species.
Aerospace Engineer:
The dream title for those who love flight,
My dream,
That requires rigorous studying
In Physics, Math, Aerodynamics,
Structures, Electric Theory,
Computer Aided Testing...
There is much to study,
Much to learn,
Much to experience,
And much to pay:
Pay for college to obtain a degree,
Pay for textbooks to study from,
Pay for software needed in college...
All under the budget contraint
Of rising college prices,
A college bound sibling,
And limited personal income.
These are the unevitable obstacles
Impeding my runways.
However,
Obstacles are mere gateways
All Aerospace Engineers,
Even the brothers that started it all,
Dreamers had to fly over
With our own wings:
Constructed from the ground up
Through dedication and commitment
Creativity and Knowledge
And Extensive support
From Family and Friends
To achieve a once impossible dream,
Of reigning the skies
With our own wings.
Not his
Not hers
Our own wings,
Our own designs.
Achieving Supremacy,
Air Supremacy.
Flying so high that obstacles no longer reach
Our almighty beast.
