Airplane Ride

My head sways,

Eyes refoucusing every second,

as they try to read,

to watch.

My seat rocks and shakes.

A bus perhaps?

Only if it has wings.

and turbines to traverse oceans,

cross mountains,

change times.

While me back cramps and my ears ring,

a new journey is just beyond the horizon.
