Airplanes

Got on a plane and of course my first thought was you
Memories of how you said you'd never leave
I told you not to make promises you couldn't keep
But you did it anyway
And now I'm all alone
Now All I have is this broken heart
From broken promises
I told you not to make
Now here I am on this plane
thinking of you
and what could have been
I heard you moved on
But I also lost a friend
I'd rather be that than nothing
I'd rather be that than not talking
The shaky plane reminds of my shaky thoughts
And how you used to cure them with simple words
Now I have to fix myself
