Aisle 11

Everyday I watch

you and your reflection

As you stand in front of the mirror

concealed beneath a blanket

hiding your imperfections

I’m infatuated with how perfect they are

like points of intrigue

they draw me in

you drown them out

a predicament we’re in

now i’m in doubt

slowly I’m losing a battle

to Aisle 11

Everyday I try to make you smile

“your beauty is unmatched”

yet your in denial

reconciled

only by this character

To you he says no words

yet somehow his voice is heard

and you feel beautiful

something I strive to make you realize

I guess realization

only comes under disguise

from Aisle 11
