Alabama Sweetheart

A thousand miles away,

you remain an intricate part of my day.

I go to class,

hearing your voice when others speak.

I go on walks,

feeling your heart next to me.

I go to sleep,

clinging to you in my dreams.

Far away as you are now,

You have never been so near.

A thousand miles turns hazy feelings

to passionate love that's crystal clear.
