Alamo Dome

The ruins outside city limits here.

The battles fought for freedom scream at me.

Dome marking a fight held on so dearly.

War waging, guns, men asking to be seen.

Ghosts still linger grasping for salvation.

Many ignore the call of history.

Laugher resounds instead of devastation.

Time has erased all ties to misery.

Here shots were fired for the united cause.

Man against man fighting as if normal.

The blood spilled upon brings nausea.

This place is here and it cause turmoil.

The ruins still stand against all doom.

So we “remember the Alamo” Dome.
