alas

Alas!

my wounds are being uncovered.

They are getting cleaned.

The salt penetrates through my flesh.

The blood no longer stains my  clothes.

Alas!

its painful

But,

Today is a new day

Yesterday my flesh was eaten up and bled.

Today, the blood stops.

It is a new dawn.

Tomorrow,

I will have new skin.

Alas!
