Albert E. Tanjaya
I, Albert Ekaputera, of the Tanjaya Dynasty,
Born in the peace of 98’ and the year of the yellow-eyed, crouching tiger in the land of civil unrest and the 8-tailed Garuda,
Descendant of radical roaring rebels who defeated the hostile Hollands and declared that this archipelago of indigenous islands shall be ruled by non European Foreigners
Raised at the end of a Civil War and the massacre of students,
A child of peace stands before you
Bringer of Doves and Diplomacy to conflicts ahead
I am the Attila of the New World,
Conquerer of Continents and Countries.
Now trapped here in the city of Brotherly love, and bound by the binding chains of cotton greenbacks and time.
Day by Day, I dream of the links breaking beautifully and freeing me out of my prison.
Europe, S. America, Africa ,Australia, and Antarctica I have never touched, but soon, my grasp will tighten on them like giants preying on sheep.
I thirst for the day I leave no stone unturned and no path unwalked.
I have bested the violin and piano, bending them to my will.
Swepted the National History Day district competition for 4 years, achieving 3 silvers and a gold, determined to have an audience with the National Judges this year.
Accustomed myself to the League of Lancers to pursue the the Holy Grail of my age and era.
Befriended a fellow Lancer with equal wits, and formed an alliance to each other to tackle this monster called life.
With companion at hand and a quest to complete, I gladly accept the terms of this journey.
Obstacles are in my way everyday and every minute,
Fiends that call themselves class,
Each that abide with different attributes and each menacing in its own way.
Though how terrifying these creatures maybe, the rewards that are reaped are golden
With six more creatures to best, I turn to my Lord, repeating his words of protection,
“though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me”.
