Alcohol

The poisonous smell The things it makes you If it made him so bad What will it make me Will I have the same hate The same desperation The same smell as him Alcohol is a nasty thing I should know It made him a monster All his demons in a single bottle All his crushed dreams in a bottle each drop another strike Each drop another beating Each beating another drop of blood Each drop of blood a tear Each tear a solidifying heart When the sun rises it never happened But I remember, I remember it all And I hate him but he doesn't know It never happened Because of his demons
