Alice After Falling

White walls, without edges Light bouncing off uncomfortably Such a small world. Down the rabbit hole Alice fell. And they locked her up tight. Scrunched, Cold, Broken And they just shoved another pill Down her throat... How does that help clean up the mess? Little Alice, Wandered through Wonderland Had herself a Tea Party with a Mad Hatter And it was utterly Fantastic! Nonsense, though In a world filled with Logic and Rules Imagination, though In a world full of straight lines Isn't Acceptable Isn't Encouraged. Tears, unbidden Hiding, in a corner Lost, somewhere in her own mind Recalling Chasing after a white rabbit Innocently dreaming of the unknown
