Alive

The ink flows beneath my hand The words unravel through my fingers I am alive My mind races So many thoughts left unsaid I am alive The paper feels new to me Fresh and crisp like morning dew I am alive When reality has other plans for you, Plans full of disappointment, The universe on paper you created is yours to keep And always remember The words you write are the reason You are alive
