Alive
Tired of life and the way things have happened Can't shift into gear my feet won't stop dragging Auto pilot moving through time in slow motion Sleep walking in a trance emotionally frozen Somewhere along the way I misplaced my cares Priorities went down the drain, and nothing could've prepared Me for this rude awakening I'm stunned by the harsh blow I took when reality got it's hit in Shocked by all the consequences I had to face for all the years I spent missin Trapped between the challenge of facing the fear of unfamiliarity that comes with progress, and being broke enough to come up short and not be able to afford the change I need to pass this stage. All my life I never backed down when all I needed to do was walk away. Too much for me, too much for me to manage, all the choices I have to make are hard and there is no advantage. Thrown into a world of hard knocks into the trenches, butt ass naked, I survived against all odds comin out the hood where they don't make it. Never again will I go down this route carrying the weight of all this baggage that should've been thrown out. Now I know how not to be a slave chained down to my high hopes and heavy ambition. Now I know how to stop and listen To the voice of reason, control the damage I suffered throughout the seasons. Not letting there be another psychotic break, because now I realize, and won't be another casualty of the death surrounding those who've lost their way... I will not fold under pressure of this world I tried so hard to change
