how can a gun be responsible when it has no eyes to see?

my eyes they see one hundred horrible things

but a gun has not what it needs.

how can a gun be an adversary without a partner in crime?

Lacking legs, ambition, hatred

All it has is time.

how can no gun aid common man?

It cannot,

thats the criminal's plan. 

the law abiding man with no gun in his innocent hand

the shadow slinking criminal with no gun in his hand

One man puts hope in a system

One man takes and uses without permission

Because it is not the criminal who waits for the permit

He is the one who takes and hurts those who have been deserted
