Alive

What inspires me?

The question is answered so easliy.

Its the mother who gets out of bed

Who lifts her head

Its the boy with scars on his arm

Who finally asks for help

Its the girl who goes to school

Knowing she will be alone

The one who thinks there is no more left to give

But keeps on living

It is easy to give up

To let defeat overcome you

like the smell of burn popcorn

It is easy to let fear, sadness, shame

Creep in like cat ready to pounce

It is hard to live

To wake up

To be

That is why it inspires me

Living

Breating

Alive
