alive

the sandy shores are calling me. from my mindless toil, from my vacant lot in this buzzing, concrete kingdom - to the wind rushing through the tall grasses and the roughened planks of siding on a lonesome sea shanty. likewise, the imposing snow-capped peaks and dark forests with streams of the coldest crystal are beckoning once again. i have no choice but to heed their compelling whispers! to frolic in vast fields of wildflowers, to be accompanied by nothing but the clouds in the sky and birds chirping their classic tunes... that, that is peace.
