Alive Again

Smile because you're beautiful, Be happy because you're alive, You can still live life meaningful, You now know how to survive. Now that you're finally gone, I can finally see the bright sky, I have waited for this so long, Never knew I'd find it at goodbye. If only you could see that I'm happy, Happy that you're not around me, Your nonexistence let's me be free, I was blind but now I can really see. A special person might give you wings, And with them you learn how to fly, One day they will tear apart all strings, And that's when they'll leave you to die. You go through all the trouble and pain, You still love them even after all of this, You can stand forever in the soaking rain, But any happiness seems to be at a miss. Yet one day there will come the time, You will get to finally realize that you, Can live another life not of this crime, A better one you can live happily through. Don't stay hung over the miserable past, Why endure your entire life in aghast, Sadness is torture but it doesn't have to last, Just remember to never rush by life too fast. Hold those special people to you close by, In times of dire you might need a lift, If they're real and true never say good bye, There's no point to send those ones a drift. So smile because you're beautiful, Be happy because you're still alive, You now live a life so meaningful, You can last anything and survive.
