All alone
Just wanting to point out that the first 6 sentences is memory from another poem I read that I sadly can’t find again. But that I took inspiration from to write my own version of it.
A smile that shines so bright. A happiness that hides her fright. A cry so loud and clear, that no one ever hears.
She hides herself so well. Taking everyone under her spell. In a world where no one cares, a life all alone.
Always wearing a mask. The one that shines so bright no one sees the truth behind. A soul so lost and empty, you wonder if it will ever come back.
The reason to keep fighting. Is the hope that one day someone will finally break the spell. Seeing the truth, seeing the girl that was truly behind.
For you to finally break trough the dark. To take of the mask, once and for all.
