All are Equal
Segregation, a crime of the past.
Equality, a concept that should last.
In a unique America with so many faces,
why is negativity on minorites wasted?
We should all be treated the same, since we are all people.
If that is so, shouldn't it be common sense to treat others as equals?
Civil rights in America have been introduced recently,
their purpose is to let us know that freedom rings.
Without them we wouldn't live as one diverse nation,
we'd live in America as separate nations,
with a society that forces itself into separation.
The bad news is that prejudice still exists,
so let us spread the word of equality to those who are ignorant.
