All Because Of You
I doubted you
And you believed in me
I stepped back
And you pulled me closer
I was cold
And you were right
I was ready to give up
And walk away
And you were right there
Behind me
Ready to fight
Fists up
And I still haven't found the words
The right ones
That could ever explain to you
What you mean to me
I was weak
And you were strong for both of us
I gave up
And cut you with cruel words
And you held me
And healed the hurt
I was scared
And always running from you
And you were steady
Like a rock
In a storm
You rocked me
Right back to safety
My home
And my safeline
I cut you off
And you cut me in
I lost you
And you found me
Over and over
I told you no
And you said yes
Every single time
I gave you lies
And you have me truth
You touched my heart
And I broke yours
And yet
You still stand there
Loving me
Proud and strong
Whatever I am
Is because of you
Whatever I do
I do for you
Whatever I say
I say in hoppes
To make you smile
Because for whatever reason
I was worthwhile
Because you said so
And because you love me
And so well
I am and always will be
The person
I always wanted to be
All because of you
