An All-Business Mentality

Told me to follow the money leaving money to be my only passion in a world that has so much more to give than a fragile Benjamin looking funny hanging out of the wallet of a mere kid; but that paper can’t replace the feeling of the ocean when you rush in. Maybe money can buy happiness but I’m happier when there isn’t a dollar in sight replacing consumerism…no longer worrying about the next purchase what I’m buying, when, how long to ration it how cool it will look to everyone else on the surface no longer believing that what I’ve been taught is truly right. I don’t want to keep losing my soul for paper that can even easily be torn by any nearby infant nor am I ready to whore myself out behind a desk hiding in suit and tie, leaving all my dreams for later sapping each ounce of intellect left, less and less to move up rung by rung in a corporation…for myself I’ll repent. The only sin being not touching every ocean out there not seeing every shade of every leaf in every wood the sin being not embarking into this world. I will continue to work, not for the dollar, but the experience it bears which is a change without the need of a fist, fingers uncurled all it takes is changing how you want to define “life is good.”
