All the Ha-leh-loo-yahs

I hear the sounds of the keys plink, plink, plinking away

As One by one I listen as my students preform their songs

I hear the hard work of long weeks

Tick. Tick. Ticking along

And the constant reminder of vowels projecting through the air

All the Ha-leh-loo-yahs and Ahh-mens

As everyone comes in for one last song

I am reminded that I should sing along

As all come in with in one accord

I am thankful that I was the one on the black board

To all of you in music I think you'll understand

The power of the music that sits upon the stand.
