For all the Heroes

With pride they stood,

Despite the fact of being disowned by their own.

With courage they fought,

For a nation which was left to rot in hell.

Just like Amata and Angel say “spider man was busy saving others

While superman was scared to do anything.

So they had to be their own heroes”

Yes, I’m talking about the heroes of Rwanda.

Tonight, I’m slamming again

Only this time it’s about them

It’s about those who shaped our anthem

And gave beauty to our emblem

It’s solely for those who gave their lives for our esteem.

I stand in utter adoration

For the selfless heroes,

For the anger less survivors,

For the defenseless children who made it,

And mainly for my current Rwandan Hero,

His Excellency Paul Kagame.

I slam, as a proud citizen

A delighted native

By blood and by bones

From within and from my scars

From my soul and from my heart

Tonight,

All my lips are saying is “Shout Out to All the Rwandan Heroes”
