Of All the Heroes

Superman, Batman, Spiderman; which hero has the greatest fan?

Hercules, Zeus, Aphrodite; which hero is the most mighty?

Francis, Benedict, or John Paul II; which Pope can give you hope?

Of all these heroes proclaimed; the most worthy name

The name of truth, hope, and love falls on my ear like a dove

He never fails and releases my ailing wails

Defeated death made Him stronger than Superman’s breath

Champion for the weak and lost made Him greater than Hercules

The only way to heaven made Him archaic over any sainted human

My Father, friend, and confidant

The one who surpassed all the greatest heroes from the past

The greatest picture of all the heroes past, present, or future

Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior
