All I Ever Need

I was a porcelain doll,

lost, withered, bruised.

In my darkest moments,

I was alone and scared.

But I got through,

survived with nothing.

I clung to the disappearing light,

hope, love, kindness.

All I needed was kindness.

All I'll ever need is kindness.
